Scheme
SIDBI Seed Fund
The SIDBI Seed Fund provides funding support to early-stage startups incubated at SIDBI''s partner incubators (such as SINE, IIT Bombay) for scaling up their business activities. SIDBI provides the funding directly to the startup while the incubator acts as an implementing partner. Investment is made in the form of equity / equity-like instruments (CCPS). Startups must be DPIIT-recognised, hold Angel Tax exemption where applicable, and maintain minimum 51% Indian promoter shareholding. Post-investment SIDBI shareholding in any single company generally does not exceed 10%.
