Chai with Dignity at Volfest 2026

At Chai with Dignity, you are not coming as a volunteer to “help” someone — you are coming to meet an equal, have a conversation, and share a moment of humanity over a cup of chai. During this experience, you will be paired with a member of the transgender community. You will sit together, have chai, talk about life, journeys, struggles, dreams, work, family, and everyday experiences. The idea is simple — when people talk, barriers break. You can expect: A safe and welcoming space One-on-one conversation over chai Real stories and real conversations A chance to ask respectful questions and learn To leave with a new perspective and maybe a new friend A Certificate of Volunteering from Kineer Garima Foundation This is not a formal volunteering activity. This is a human experience. One cup of chai can remove years of distance.
