• Usage Data: We track:
  • Whether you’ve viewed a grant page (to enforce the one-free-view rule).
  • Page views, time spent, and clicks (via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Account Management: To create your account, send verification emails, and provide unlimited grant access.
• Site Operation: To ensure functionality (e.g., session cookies for login).
• Communication:To send account-related emails (e.g., password reset links, account confirmation link). If you share your phone number, we may also contact you about our grants program.
• Analytics: To improve the Site using Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity data (e.g., understanding user behavior).

3. Cookies and Tracking

• Session Cookies: Used for login functionality (essential, no consent needed).
• Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies to track usage. These are optional, but by using the Site, you consent to them. Disable via browser settings if desired.

• Service Providers:
  • Supabase: Stores your signup data for authentication.
  • Vercel: Hosts the Site and processes technical data.
  • Google Analytics: Analyzes usage (anonymized where possible).
  • Microsoft Clarity: Tracks user behavior (e.g., heatmaps).
• Legal Requirements: We may share data if required by Indian law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Storage: Data is stored with Supabase and Vercel in secure cloud servers (locations may include outside India, compliant with DPDP Act).
• Security: We use encryption and industry-standard measures, but no system is 100% secure.
• Retention:We keep your data while your account is active or as needed for legal compliance (e.g., 2 years for inactive accounts).
  Phone numbers shared for the grants program will be retained until you request deletion or withdraw consent.

6. Your Rights (Under India’s DPDP Act, 2023)

• Access: Request a copy of your data.
• Correction: Update your name or phone number by contacting us.
• Deletion: Request account deletion, we’ll remove your data unless legally required to retain it.
• Complaints: Contact us or India’s Data Protection Authority if issues arise.

7. Third-Party Services

• WhatsApp: The group link directs you to WhatsApp. Their privacy policy applies.
• Google Analytics: Collects usage data (see their policy: here).

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not for users under 18. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe we have such data.
