Before Applying

Several programs have specific eligibility constraints. The Genesis by IKP program requires deep science innovations at TRL 2-3, making it unsuitable for business model innovation or app-based startups. The SmartAgri CoE Bhilai program focuses on startups that benefit farmers in Chhattisgarh, so ventures outside the state may not be eligible. The WEE program explicitly targets women's economic empowerment, so startups in other social impact areas should look elsewhere. Additionally, some programs like the CCSNIAM tracks are restricted to student-led or pre-seed agri-enterprises, while the AWE Tech Challenge prioritizes ventures addressing climate vulnerability.

Deadlines are approaching for several programs: the NERVE CoE and SmartAgri CoE Open Challenge Programs close on 15 July 2026, just days away. The Genesis by IKP, CCSNIAM SOP/AOP, and AWE Tech Challenge close on 31 July 2026. The D.E.S.I.G.N. for BioE3 Challenge has a monthly rolling submission but a final deadline of 31 October 2026. Programs like Indian Innovation Icons and AgInvest 2026 accept applications on a rolling basis, so no immediate deadline pressure. Ensure your startup meets the specific technical or geographic criteria before applying.
