Do I have to pay for these credits?

No. AWS credits are issued free to eligible startups through the AWS partner program. We do not sell, resell or broker credits, and there is no fee or commission charged to you at any stage.

Are the $35K AWS credits guaranteed?

No. Published slabs for early-stage startups are indicative and range from $5,000 to $35,000. Final credit values are set by AWS and confirmed at qualification.

How long are the credits valid?

Credits are typically valid for 6 months from activation, so it helps to plan your migration or scale-up within that window.

What can the credits be used for?

Standard AWS services — compute, storage, databases, networking and AI/ML services. Third-party marketplace purchases and support plans may be excluded.

Is the migration really free?

Migration to AWS is part of the early-stage offer, and the cloud POC and assessment are provided at no charge. Any work beyond that scope is quoted separately by the partner before it starts.

Can I apply if I'm not using AWS?

Yes. Tell us which cloud provider you currently use. Your profile may be evaluated for the applicable route, including migration from GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean or on-prem.

How long does the process take?

The eligibility check takes about 2 minutes. A partner typically responds within a few working days, and credits are applied after their review and AWS approval.

What documents do I need?

Nothing for the eligibility check. At qualification, the partner may ask for basic details like your company registration, website and AWS account ID.

Do I need a credit card or minimum spend commitment?

You need an AWS account for the credits to be applied. There is no payment to us; any AWS billing terms apply directly between you and AWS.

What happens after the credits are used up?

You move to regular AWS billing. The partner can help you right-size architecture and reduce spend before that point.

Can I apply if I already used AWS Activate credits?

Possibly. Prior credit history is reviewed at qualification and can affect the slab you're eligible for.
