Genesis by IKP – Cohort 1 (IKP Knowledge Park)

The Genesis by IKP – Cohort 1 program is a 12-month venture-building program for deep science startups at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2–3. Hosted by IKP Knowledge Park, it offers up to ₹30 lakh as grant funding along with hands-on mentoring, lab access, and commercialization support. While originally designed for early-stage deeptech, startups with pre-revenue or early revenue from pilot sales are eligible. The deadline is 31 July 2026. Revenue-stage startups whose product is validated can use this to bridge the gap to market entry.

Seed Fund Scheme - Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM)

The Seed Fund Scheme - Kerala Startup Mission provides seed funding up to ₹15 lakh as a soft loan at 6% simple interest against purchase orders. Managed by KSUM, it targets early-stage, technology-driven startups in Kerala. For revenue-stage startups, this is useful as invoice-based financing — the loan is disbursed against confirmed purchase orders, helping fulfill orders without straining cash flow. Applicants must be registered with KSUM and have a viable business model.

Women's Economic Empowerment (IIMA Ventures)

The Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE) program by IIMA Ventures, supported by the Gates Foundation, provides grant funding starting from ₹45 lakh to technology-enabled solutions that improve women's economic status. It is open to for-profit and non-profit entities. Revenue-stage startups with a proven product and measurable impact on women's livelihoods are strongly suited. The program offers strategic mentorship and access to the IIMA Ventures network. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

SLINGSHOT 2026 (Enterprise Singapore)

The SLINGSHOT 2026 is Asia's leading deep tech startup pitching competition, with a total prize pool of over ₹15.84 crore in grant prizes. Categories include Advanced Computing, Advanced Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, Sustainability, and Health & Biomedical. Revenue-stage startups with a scalable product and traction in these domains are ideal candidates. Grand winner receives ₹2.88 crore. Deadline for registration is 27 July 2026 (though earlier registration period ended 30 June 2026; check for updates).

Open Challenge Program (OCP) Cohort 1 at NERVE CoE, Nagpur (NERVE CoE)

The Open Challenge Program (OCP) Cohort 1 at NERVE CoE, Nagpur is an 18-month incubation program for AI and deep tech startups in HealthTech, AgriTech, Forestry, and Mining. Backed by MeitY, it offers up to ₹50 lakh in seed funding, GPU infrastructure, mentoring, and go-to-market support. Revenue-stage startups with a working prototype and initial customers in these sectors will benefit from the dedicated compute resources and industry connections. Deadline: 15 July 2026.

Ideabaaz — Season 2 & Startup Festival 2026 (Ideabaaz Tech)

The Ideabaaz — Season 2 & Startup Festival 2026 is a national pitch show airing on Zee TV and Zee5, culminating in a live festival at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi (26–28 August 2026). Open to founders from any Indian city and all stages, the program provides a chance to pitch to investor “Titans” for capital and mentorship. Season 1 closed ₹41 crore in deals. Revenue-stage startups from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are explicitly encouraged. Applications are rolling.

Indian Innovation Icons 2027 (Marico Innovation Foundation)

The Indian Innovation Icons 2027 program by Marico Innovation Foundation recognizes and supports innovators tackling significant real-world challenges. It offers strategic mentorship, investor access, and national visibility. Both for-profit and non-profit entities can apply. Revenue-stage startups with a validated innovation and early impact metrics are well-suited. The program runs on a rolling application basis, with the next cohort starting in 2027.

Before Applying

Several programs impose specific eligibility constraints. For example, CGSS requires DPIIT recognition and the startup must be amenable to debt financing; revenue-stage startups that are heavily loss-making may not qualify. The Women's Economic Empowerment program targets technology solutions that demonstrably improve women's economic status, limiting eligibility to impact-driven ventures. The Seed Fund Scheme by KSUM is restricted to Kerala-registered startups. Additionally, SLINGSHOT 2026 and NERVE OCP have set deadlines — SLINGSHOT's registration closed on 30 June 2026 but the program still lists a 27 July deadline for late applications or clarifications; verify the current status. NERVE OCP closes on 15 July 2026, so applying early is advised. Both SLINGSHOT and Ideabaaz are cohort-based — missing the intake means waiting for the next season. Genesis by IKP has a strict 31 July 2026 deadline and deep science focus; startups outside this domain need not apply.
