Participants receive a SAFE note investment and access 24/7 co-working space and makerspace. The program focuses on refining value propositions, building go-to-market strategies, and preparing for early funding opportunities. Eligibility requires at least one UQ-affiliated founder and a clear solution with evidence of market research or traction. Participating in the Accelerator program is a full-time commitment.
Startup AdVentures
FellowshipA 4-week learning experience for selected UQ students specializing in innovation and entrepreneurship with local, regional, and global startup communities.
What you get, who can apply and how to applyHide details
Students are allocated to a startup to gain first-hand experience, learning about founding, investing, and growing an early-stage business. The program runs three times a year during summer and winter semester breaks. Inclusions are return flights, accommodation, a stipend, startup matching, program schedule, and UQ Travel Insurance. Eligibility requires being a UQ student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0, 18 years of age or over, and demonstrated entrepreneurial activity and education. Participants must commit to full-time, in-person participation at the host startup.
