Professional tax in Odisha has been repealed
Odisha repealed professional tax from 1 April 2026 by an ordinance notified on 21 April 2026. Dues for periods up to 31 March 2026 stay payable under the old schedule.

- Keep paying and filing for any period up to 31 March 2026 that is still outstanding.
