Reliance Industries Limited is India's largest private-sector company, headquartered in Mumbai. Founded in 1966, Reliance operates across retail, telecom, media, energy, and technology verticals. Through JioGenNext, its startup accelerator programme launched in 2013, Reliance actively engages with technology startups via the Market Access Program (MAP), offering hands-on guidance for scaling up with no equity taken and no charges levied.
JioGenNext has incubated over 170 startups across seven years. Of these, 79 have raised funding and 21 have been acquired by various firms, with incubated startups collectively raising more than INR 2,600 crore in early-stage venture capital. The programme provides access to opportunities within the Reliance ecosystem for product pilots and enterprise-scale deployment. Reliance has also approved more than USD 12 million in grants for startups through its Labs/02 initiative.
