Visible Hands

Through this hybrid program, participants join an exceptional cohort of 15 founders. It is a signature program of NYCEDC’s Venture Access NYC initiative and provides $10,000 in non-dilutive funding, hybrid opportunities to connect digitally and meet in person, expert-led workshops covering business modeling, financial projections, and fundraising, wellness sessions, and hands-on support. Eligibility requires at least one co-founder living in NYC, a tech or tech-enabled enterprise based in NYC, and a commitment of 2 hours a week. Teams can have a maximum of 2 additional co-founders. Participants cannot be in other Visible Hands or NYCEDC fellowships/accelerators simultaneously.

The program offers a $5,000 non-dilutive grant, hands-on project support covering design to fundraising, and access to a local and national network of founders and investors through in-person meetups and a digital platform. Eligibility requires raising less than $500k in dilutive funding, at least one co-founder living in Greater Boston, a commitment of 2 hours a week, and a gender/racial identity underrepresented in tech. Founders should be post-idea, pre-revenue, or early revenue. Participants cannot be in other Visible Hands fellowships simultaneously.

The program provides a $10,000 non-dilutive business grant and a $1,100 per month stipend for three months. It offers hybrid programming, expert-led workshops on topics like securing first customers and developing prototypes, wellness sessions, and hands-on support. There is a strong emphasis on community connection in Tulsa, OK, with mandatory in-person attendance for specific weeks. Eligibility includes founders from Greater Tulsa or Southern Regions of the U.S. (Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma), a tech or tech-enabled enterprise idea, and a commitment of 2 hours a week. Founders should be pre-MVP, idea-stage. Grants are awarded per company.
