About this Opportunity

IMPACT 3.0 is the flagship Innovation-to-Market Product Acceleration Program of IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation (IPTIF) under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The program is designed to accelerate deep-tech innovations in Cyber-Physical Systems and Intelligent Collaborative Systems (ICS) from early translational research to pilot-scale pre-commercialization. It supports the full technology development pipeline including idea validation, prototype development, MVP-to-product market fit, certification, pilot manufacturing, and field trials.

IMPACT 3.0 offers equity-based funding and structured acceleration support across TRL levels 2 to 8, enabling academia–industry collaboration and research-to-startup transitions. The program targets applications in Energy, Safety, Healthcare, Automotive, Agriculture, Defense, and other domains of national importance, with a maximum funding support of up to INR 50 Lakhs per project depending on category and stage.

  • DPIIT-recognized startups with a minimum viable prototype aiming for product-market fit (Category 2).
