About this Opportunity

Saksham 2.0 is a national accelerator program dedicated to supporting and empowering startups creating innovative Assistive Technology (AT) solutions for people with disabilities in India. It aims to create measurable impact in their learning and earning potential.

The program is designed to accelerate Bharat's Assistive Technology ecosystem by providing a launchpad for startups to test, scale, and access grants and VC funding.

Key features of the accelerator:

Grant Support: Up to ₹10 Lakh per company (the total grant pool is ₹10 Lakh).
Focus: Inclusive, affordable, and scalable solutions for disabled individuals.
Duration/Format: Virtual & In-person mentorship and capacity building (12 weeks, as seen in similar accelerators).
Output: Product testing, market linkages, and access to investors (Demo Day).

Eligibility

Must be a startup registered in India.
Must be working in the Assistive Technology domain, focusing on solutions for impairments in mobility, vision, hearing, or speech.
Must have a prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) that has demonstrated practical application.
Target Stages: Prototype, Users, or Paying Users stage.
Focus Areas include: Mobility Aids, Vision Support, Hearing & Speech Assistance, Cognitive & Learning Technologies, Healthcare & Wellness Devices, and Digital Accessibility Tools.
The program is open to companies at the Angel, Pre-seed, Seed, or Series A funding stage, with or without prior funding/revenue.

Application Process

Application: Startups submit their application through the SACC India platform.
Selection: Startups are selected for the cohort.
Acceleration: Selected startups receive dedicated mentorship, capacity building workshops, product testing & validation, and regulatory support over the program duration.
Funding & Market Access: Cohort startups receive Seed Grants and are prepared for a Demo Day to pitch before investors, partners, and government representatives.
