The Standard Incubation Program at AIC-CCMB (Atal Incubation Centre at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology) is Hyderabad's leading life science incubator, established under the Atal Innovation Mission. The program exclusively supports Indian startups and student innovators working in diagnostics, medical devices, cancer biopharmaceuticals, infectious diseases, genomics, and IT or data science applied to life sciences. It is located within the CSIR-CCMB campus in Hyderabad, India's pharma and biotech hub.
Incubatees receive 300 sq ft of workspace, access to sophisticated CSIR lab facilities, business mentorship, technical support from CSIR scientists, and connections to an investor and mentor network. After a minimum 3-month residency, startups become eligible for seed funding under the NIDHI-SSP scheme. Virtual incubation is also available. Applications can be submitted at any time since the program accepts candidates on a rolling basis throughout the year.
