The SmartAgri Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) in Bhilai is inviting applications for its Open Challenge Program (OCP) 1.0. This is an STPI initiative, in collaboration with MeitY and Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), to support AgriTech startups.
The program aims to identify and incubate startups developing affordable and sustainable technology products for farmers, particularly in Chhattisgarh. Key objectives include fostering R&D, creating a localized AgriTech ecosystem, and providing startups with the resources to build and deploy innovative solutions in the agricultural sector. The final date for applications is July 15, 2026.
Maruti Suzuki NURTURE Cohort 4 (IIM Calcutta Innovation Park)
Maruti Suzuki NURTURE Cohort 4 is a pre-incubation initiative from Maruti Suzuki and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park. The program is designed for early-stage startups and has a focus on eastern, north-eastern, and central India, though it is open to startups serving any part of the country.
The program targets innovations in mobility convenience, ADAS, EV infrastructure, sustainability, social impact, and enterprise manufacturing technologies like GenAI and industrial IoT. Benefits include cash rewards of ₹13 lakh, a potential paid Proof of Concept (PoC) with Maruti Suzuki, industry mentorship, and access to the company's ecosystem. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Before Applying
Founders preparing applications should have core materials ready. Typically, this includes a concise pitch deck, proof of company registration, a functional product demo or prototype, and detailed team biographies. Specific requirements can vary significantly between programs.
It is important to review all eligibility criteria before applying. Competitions often have strict rules regarding a startup's stage, sector focus, or founder demographics. Missing a deadline for an annual competition, such as SLINGSHOT or the TiE Women Program, may mean waiting another year to apply.
