About

BuildAI Pitch Event is a national deep-tech AI pitch competition jointly organised by ITEL Foundation and IndiaAI Mission, with support from Anna AIC, Aalamaram, and Startup TN.

Who can apply: Founders of deep-tech AI startups registered within the last two years (or in the process of registering).

Process:

Submit an application via ITEL's AI-based Interactive Screening tool
Applications evaluated by a joint ITEL + AI Mission screening committee
Shortlisted startups pitch in person in Chennai

Prizes:

1st Prize: ₹2 Lakh
2nd & 3rd Prize: ₹1 Lakh each
4th & 5th Prize: ₹50,000 each

Top winners are eligible for incubation at ITEL Foundation including mentoring, investor access, and grants of up to ₹20 lakh. Travel reimbursement up to ₹10,000 provided for shortlisted teams.
