Individual innovators, students, and early-stage startups who are Indian citizens can apply. The project should be in the idea-to-PoC stage or have a PoC ready, and must relate to hardware or software-based technology innovation.

Is the funding equity-free?

Yes. iCreate's Pro-Fund Gateway provides non-dilutive grant support — no equity is taken.

Do I need to be based in Gujarat?

Preference is given to applicants willing to reside on the iCreate campus. For the Government of Gujarat scheme specifically, the startup must be registered as an LLP or private limited company in Gujarat. Other government-of-India schemes may be accessible to broader applicants.

What is the range of funding available?

Funding support ranges from ₹2 lakhs to ₹30 lakhs depending on the applicable government scheme and the stage of development.

What non-monetary support is provided?

iCreate offers business and technical mentorship, access to a prototyping and digital innovation lab, investor and industry connections, incubation support, and hostel accommodation on the iCreate campus.

How does iCreate select applicants?

Applications are evaluated on the strength of the innovation, technical feasibility, and commercialisation potential. Startups willing to reside on campus are given greater preference in the selection process.

iCreate's gateway to securing funding support and holistic assistance for turning a proof-of-concept (PoC) or prototype into a successful product.

As a government-recognised Technology Business Incubator, iCreate offers access to a bouquet of varied schemes from a host of reputed institutions belonging to the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat.

The program also provides holistic support, including:

Business and technical mentorship.
Access to prototyping and digital innovation lab.
Incubation and funding support.
Connections with investors, industry, and the startup ecosystem.
Hostel accommodation on the iCreate campus.

Applications are assessed by iCreate against the startup's innovation stage and fit with hardware or software technology domains. Shortlisted applicants are evaluated for willingness to reside on campus and alignment with available GoI and Gujarat government funding schemes. Selected startups are onboarded into iCreate's incubation program and matched with relevant funding sources.
