GENESIS EIR is a programme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) that FiiRE hosts in Goa. It is for first-generation tech entrepreneurs working in Electronic Design & Manufacturing, Deeptech Software and Products, and ICT. Selected entrants are incubated at FiiRE Goa in person. FiiRE's investments page marks it as a completed programme, and the programme page gives no dates.

The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme is a DPIIT scheme that works through selected incubators. FiiRE says it is one of them. A startup applies on the national SISFS portal and selects FiiRE Goa as its incubator. FiiRE's investments page marks its own programme as completed, but the scheme page still shows an apply button, so confirm the current position with FiiRE.

  • Grant support to validate a proof of concept, build a prototype or run product trials, paid in milestone-based instalments
  • Investment for market entry, commercialisation or scaling, through convertible debentures or debt and debt-linked instruments

The MSME Idea Hackathon 5.0 is a national hackathon from the Ministry of MSME. Applicants chose a host institute, and FiiRE's page covers the route through Don Bosco College of Engineering in Goa. Selected ideas receive funding support, mentorship and incubation. Applications closed on 14 July 2025. FiiRE's investments page still labels the programme as active, which does not match its own programme page.

Who can apply

  • Individuals of Indian origin aged 18 to 60 with a valid email address and mobile number
  • MSMEs with a Udyam registration number
  • Students with a valid student ID for 2025-26
  • Other individuals such as freelancers, researchers and independent innovators
  • An idea that shows at least one of eight listed innovation processes

How to apply: Apply on the MSME Innovation Portal, choose Don Bosco College of Engineering as host institute and Goa as the state, upload documents, pick a participant category, fill in the proposal and submit. The window is closed.

Goa Tourism Accelerator (past cohorts)

A 16-week incubation programme for TourismTech startups; the 2021 cohort drew more than 50 startups, 14 of which were incubated, and no current batch is listed.

The Goa Tourism Accelerator was a 16-week incubation programme for TourismTech startups run by FiiRE. By FiiRE's own account, the 2021 cohort drew more than 50 startups, of which 14 received incubation. The site also mentions a 2022 cohort. No later batch is listed, and the site gives no eligibility rules or application route for it.

FiiREWork coworking

Open desks, cabins, fixed and flexible seats and day passes, with meeting rooms, an auditorium and a cafe. Open to freelancers, startups, small businesses and enterprise teams. Fatorda was the first workspace; the site also lists Margao and Panaji.
