What you get, who can apply and how to apply

The incubation programme is the centre's standing offer. Selected start-ups work from its facility on the SGPGI campus. They get plug-and-play seats, lab access, mentoring, and help with funding and market access. The programme page describes the path from idea to prototype to MVP, and then to a company that can graduate.

What you get

  • Plug-and-play incubation space, with round-the-clock workspace and security
  • Access to the MediElectronics and IoT labs, and the PCB, 3D printing and CNC facilities
  • Mentors who connect start-ups with prototyping, design and manufacturing vendors
  • Patent filing support under the arrangement with the National Research and Development Corporation
  • Free testing and validation at the AMTZ facility in Andhra Pradesh

Who can apply

  • Private limited companies, registered partnership firms and LLPs
  • Incorporated no more than ten years ago
  • Annual turnover within the cap on the programme page
  • Working on innovation, or on a scalable model with high potential for jobs or wealth creation

What it costs: The programme page says start-ups give equity to STPI and also pay a per-seat monthly charge. The challenge's question-and-answer page says the charge is the alternative to equity. Confirm which applies before you commit.

How selection works: The programme page does not describe the selection steps.

How to apply: Use the Apply button on the programme page. It leads to the STPINEXT call page. Mentors use a separate form on the same page.

The listed problems include an IoT biosensing system for at-home testing, medical wearables for cardiac and neurological monitoring, a neonatal neuro-monitoring device, AI-based sepsis prediction and low-cost rehabilitation devices.

The round is closed. Applications closed on 08 Oct 2026. Watch the centre's site and the Sayuj portal for the next round.

What you get

  • Seed funding for selected start-ups, with a pitch before the centre's Investment Committee
  • Furnished plug-and-play office space, conference rooms, 3D modelling and 3D printing
  • Mentoring from industry and clinical experts, and go-to-market support, including showcases at conferences
  • Guidance on IPR and CDSCO compliance

Who can apply

  • Indian start-ups with at least 51% of shares held by Indian citizens or persons of Indian origin, and not a subsidiary of a foreign company
  • Individual academics, researchers, educators, firms and LLPs may also apply, but must register as a private limited company within about three months if selected

How selection works: Screening runs in several tiers with domain experts. Stage one shortlists ideas, proofs of concept, prototypes, MVPs and pre-market solutions. Stage two is a final pitch.

How to apply: Apply only through the Sayuj portal. Applying costs nothing.

How to apply to MedTech CoE

About MedTech CoE

MediElectronics and Health Informatics Lab

Smt. Vandana Srivastava, Director of STPI Noida
