The AWS × IDFC × Campus Fund Grand Challenge 2026 is the 7th edition of India’s biggest competition for student startups. Hosted by Campus Fund — India’s first SEBI-registered Category II AIF that invests exclusively in student-led startups (including recent graduates and dropouts) — the Challenge helps student founders get noticed, meet investors, and grow their ventures.
Since 2020 the Grand Challenge has featured 70+ startups, funded 25+, and alumni have gone on to raise ₹90M+ after the Challenge. Eligible founders (current students, dropouts, or graduates from 2023 onwards who hold at least 25% equity) apply free of charge. Top 15 finalists are announced in November 2026 and pitch live to a jury of leading investors, founders and business leaders at the Grand Finale in Mumbai on 10 December 2026, with travel and accommodation covered for outstation finalists.
The 2026 application form is branded AWS × IDFC × Campus Fund; ecosystem partners supporting outreach include Nasscom, 360 One, HDFC Bank, Campus Angel Network, The Chennai Angels, Deshpande Startups, Kerala Startup Mission, MSInS and others.

Applications are evaluated through a multi-stage process focusing on the innovation, scalability, team strength, and market potential of the student startups. A preliminary screening identifies promising ventures, leading to the announcement of the Top 15 finalists. These finalists then advance to the Grand Finale, where they present their startup to an esteemed jury comprising leading investors, renowned founders, and influential business leaders. The jury assesses each pitch based on clarity, viability, impact, and overall presentation, ultimately determining the top-performing startups of the challenge.

Where and when will the Grand Finale take place?
