About Digital Health Call for Innovation

This call is archived on Medi Valley's own site, so it is not taking applications. It is worth reading anyway, because it is the clearest published statement of how Medi Valley selects and what it expects of a selected team.

The brief covered digital health broadly: digital care programmes, smart devices, computational analysis and communication tools that make healthcare delivery more efficient and medicine more personalised.

What you got

  • Access to the validation and testing lab facilities
  • Market access routes for the finished product once it reached MVP stage
  • An onboarding incentive per category towards product development

Who could apply

  • Indian registered startups, MSMEs and individual innovators
  • Work with the potential to close the gap between demand and supply of essential medical equipment
  • Work that demonstrates a benefit to patients, healthcare and society
  • Teams able to be present at AMTZ — no work was permitted outside the campus

How selection works: Applicants pitched to a jury, and the result was announced the following day. Selected innovators then built a proof of concept at the AMTZ campus over about five weeks, ending in an agreement with Medi Valley.

How to apply: The call is closed. If you want to be told when it or something like it reopens, write to info@medivalley-aic.in.
