Incubation at AIC-MFIE-IM-BHU

The Incubation programme is the centre's main offer. It is for startups that already have a validated idea or solution and a team working on it, and it runs for 18 months from the day the incubation agreement is signed. The centre's home page also describes physical incubation of 18 to 36 months, so confirm the length when you apply.

Who can apply

• Startups at prototype stage or ahead
• Startups that fit the centre's focus areas
• Teams with a validated idea or solution and a dedicated team working on it
• The page does not ask for BHU enrolment or employment, and does not say the startup must be incorporated

How selection works: Applications are first screened on the idea and the focus area. Shortlisted applicants fill in a detailed application form and a presentation format and send them back by email and registered post. They then present to the Incubatee Selection Committee, which includes academicians, entrepreneurs, industry experts and a chartered accountant. Selected startups sign an incubation agreement.
