About Incubation Program
The Incubation Program is AIC-SELCO Foundation's one standing programme. The centre describes it as a collaborative platform for innovation and interaction with relevant networks in sustainable energy for poverty alleviation, open to energy entrepreneurs and innovators developing their ideas within sustainable energy and energy efficiency. It runs as two residencies rather than as dated cohorts, and the application form stays open.
What you get
- A free co-working space at the Guwahati campus
- Mentoring by subject-matter experts
- Access to industries
- Access to startup events across the country through the centre's partner network
- A route into the wider startup ecosystem
- Work with the centre on user and market research, product and manufacturing processes, business model development, and sustainability and growth
Who can apply
- Clean Energy Enterprises residency: entrepreneurs helping vulnerable communities get sustainable livelihood and earning opportunities
- Technology Enterprises residency: local innovators building technologies and products that can change the climate or social sustainability picture over the long term
- No incorporation requirement, geography rule or category rule is published. The enterprises the centre lists are sole proprietorships, one-person companies and private limited companies, based in Assam, Manipur and Meghalaya
How selection works: the centre says selection depends on a justification and review process. It does not publish the stages of that review or a selection timeline.
How to apply: use either Apply Now button on the Incubation Program page, which opens the centre's incubation form. It asks for your name, date of birth, email and contact number, then for a description of your business or enterprise and a description of your innovation. General questions go to info@aicselco.org. No deadline or intake date is published.
