About MSME Idea Hackathon (Host Institute route)
AITS Tirupati is a registered Host Institute for the Ministry of MSME's Idea Hackathon. The programme is run by the ministry, not the college: you apply on the ministry's portal and select the college as your Host Institute or Business Incubator during registration. The most recent edition the college promoted was the 5.0 round, whose application window closed on 31 July 2025, so treat it as between intakes. The hackathon runs in editions, so a future round is possible.
Who can apply
- Individual innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs from across India, within the ministry's stated age band
- No requirement to be a student of the college
How selection works: Ideas are assessed under the ministry's scheme; selected ideas receive grant support and incubation help.
How to apply: Register on the Ministry of MSME portal, submit your idea through the ministry's registration link, and select Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Tirupati as your Host Institute or Business Incubator. For questions about the college's hosting role, it publishes its conveners' contact numbers.
