About Scale Program
The Scale Program is Aurelia Ventures' main programme. It works one-to-one with founders on their fundraising and go-to-market goals, from proof of concept or stealth towards a Seed round. Its programme page describes 12 months of this work, while its site also describes an eight-week sprint, so the length is not settled.
What you get
- One-to-one strategy sessions with the Managing Partner, Felix Kues
- Introductions to its warm network of VCs, which its pages give as 350+ pre-seed and seed VCs, or 250+ VCs that join its rounds
- Go-to-market and sales support
- Partner benefits for sales, marketing, engineering and business, including cloud credits
- Investment for companies from the programme, through the Inception Fund
Who can apply
- A B2B software product or service
- A founding team with prior industry experience and at least one technical co-founder, or a solo technical founder
- Serious intent to raise funding
- Its site says the company should not have raised more than a Seed round, while one of its pages gives Series A as the limit
- US incorporation, or US ties. Its site says it requires incorporation in the US, and usually the team too, with case-by-case exceptions. Its programme page asks for US ties and lists incorporation as something that does not matter.
How selection works: Its site says the process from application to acceptance usually takes five working days. Admission is on a rolling basis, and no batch dates are published. Its pages give different intake figures: five startups per cohort, three per quarter, one a month, and up to ten per cohort.
How to apply: The site does not give a direct application link for this programme. Its footer links a sign-up form for an Operator Network, which it does not describe as the route into the programme. Check the route with the team before you apply.
