About Bennovate Entrepreneurship Summit and Startup Pitch Competition

Bennovate is the summit the Hatchery and the Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship run each year, first held in 2022. The fourth edition ran on 14 and 15 November 2025, supported by Startup India (DPIIT), StartinUP and WASME. There is no 2026 edition on the site yet and the 2025 page no longer carries a registration link, so it is between editions. It is also the clearest route into the Hatchery for a founder with no Bennett connection.

What you get

  • A pitch to investors and industry experts in the summit's competition, judged by working investors
  • Incubation support from Bennett Hatchery, virtual or physical, listed as a feature for participants
  • A stall in the startup expo, and a place in the showcase for a selected top twenty-five startups
  • Partner benefits from AWS, Notion and others
  • Cash and other prizes for winners, and certificates for everyone who registers
  • Expert talks, panels, founder journey sessions, an investor interaction and elevator pitch, and a reverse-pitching session on what investors look for

Who can apply

  • The competition runs in two categories: school projects, and national and international startups
  • Attendees are listed as young startups, school innovators, aspiring entrepreneurs, government officials, corporate leaders, investors and academics
  • The 2025 recap describes the senior category as early-stage and student-led startups, which reads narrower than the event page

How selection works: participants are selected to pitch, and a separate top twenty-five are selected to exhibit. Investors and industry experts judge the pitches.

How to apply: watch the Bennovate page on the Innovation Centre site for the next edition. The contact given is the Hatchery's Assistant General Manager; general questions can go to info@bennett.edu.in.
