About BICEP - BMS Innovation Centre and Entrepreneurship Park (Incubation Centre)

BICEP is the institute's incubation centre. It is set up to encourage students and faculty to build innovation-driven enterprises, and the centre says it is recognised as a Business Incubator host institute by the Ministry of MSME.

What you get

  • Ready-to-use office space with furniture and connectivity on campus
  • Mentoring from senior faculty, industry people and business consultants
  • Training in ideation, business planning, marketing, intellectual property and pitching
  • Access to campus R&D laboratories, workshops and testing facilities
  • Seed loans that may be available, subject to funds and schemes

Who can apply

The page states the centre's purpose as students and faculty of the institute. It does not state whether outside founders can join.

How selection works: Admission does not automatically entitle a company to a seed loan. Seed funding applications are made after three months of incubation and decided on the centre's eligibility criteria.

How to apply: Write to bicep@bmsit.in. The centre's page links no application form.
