About BMW i Ventures
BMW i Ventures is described on the Startup Garage site as the independent venture capital fund of the BMW Group. The fund's own site is run by a separate company, BMW i Ventures, Inc. It is not part of the Startup Garage and it does not work like it: it invests in startups.
What you get
- Early-stage investment from a corporate venture fund
- Backing for founders working on large market problems
Who can apply
- Stated focus: Series Seed to Series B
- Stated geography focus: North America and Europe, so it is not a stated route for founders based in India
- Listed interests: car development, digital sales and services, information technology, manufacturing, supply chain and sustainability. A recent fund announcement adds artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing across the automotive ecosystem
How to apply: The pages we read show no application form or intake route. We cannot say whether founders can pitch directly or need an introduction, so do not assume you can apply.
