About Buildit Pre-Seed Accelerator Program

Buildit's pre-seed Accelerator Program gives early hardware, IoT and industry software teams a short, intensive programme with mentoring and a pre-seed investment. Its pages give the length as either three or four months, so confirm the timetable before you apply.

What you get

  • Mentoring from a bench of more than 90 people, with expertise ranging from engineering to product design
  • Support on problem and solution fit, positioning, storytelling and pitching, fundraising and financials, and manufacturing and product development
  • A pre-seed investment, structured as a convertible loan with a discount and a valuation cap, or in some cases direct equity
  • A route to the Build-On seed stage for teams that are selected

Who can apply

  • Teams building in Industry 4.0, robotics, automation, IoT, big data or software
  • A minimum viable product or working prototype
  • A team of at least two people with relevant experience; a single founder can apply if willing to find co-founders
  • Founders from any country, provided the company incorporates in Latvia during the programme

How selection works: Applications are reviewed and about 10 teams are accepted per batch. Selected teams are invited to an interview round.
