CIIE – Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship

CIIE is CTTC's technology business incubator. It is a collaboration between the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and CTTC Bhubaneswar, supported by GIZ Germany. CTTC's site carries a call for startups to join a first cohort, with a deadline of August 31st and a cohort start described as possibly mid-September. That call gives no year for the deadline, and no cohort results or portfolio are published, so the current intake needs confirming with CTTC.

What you get

• Product design and development support for hardware manufacturing ideas, at subsidised rates compared with outside providers
• Well-furnished workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi, a board room, a rapid prototyping facility and other common facilities
• Physical incubation at CTTC-CIIE in Bhubaneswar, or virtual incubation from anywhere in the country

Who can apply

• Startups with a hardware manufacturing idea
• The call sets out no formal eligibility criteria beyond that
• The application form asks whether your company is registered and whether you want physical or virtual incubation
