About MSME Innovative Scheme incubation (Dadhichi College of Pharmacy as host institute)

This is the college's one founder-facing route. It is approved by the Ministry of MSME as a host institute and business incubator for the incubation part of the MSME Innovative Scheme, and it appears on the ministry's own list of approved host institutes. Applications are made to the ministry, not to the college: you register on the ministry's incubation portal and name Dadhichi College of Pharmacy in the application form. The college publishes no form, no deadline and no intake of its own.

What you get

  • Help turning an idea into a validated concept, with mentoring, technical consultation and proof-of-concept support.
  • Access to the college's laboratory, research, testing and analytical facilities, pilot-scale manufacturing support, equipment and a shared incubation workspace. These are listed as categories, not named or counted.
  • Mentoring from academic staff, industry professionals, founders, technology specialists and business consultants.
  • Guidance on intellectual property and regulation: patent search and filing, trademark and copyright registration, regulatory approvals, quality systems and product registration.
  • Introductions for technology transfer, market access, investors and commercialisation.
  • Grant support for approved ideas under the scheme, routed through the host institute for developing and nurturing the idea.

Who can apply

  • Any innovator of Indian origin with an email address and a mobile number. The college adds no rule of its own and does not restrict this to its own students.
  • Under the MSME category, with a Udyam registration number.
  • Under the student category, with a student identity card valid for the current financial year, and a commitment to carry the work on after the course ends.
  • Under Others, for everyone else.
  • Ideas should be aimed at a working prototype, model, proof of concept or product, in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, healthcare technology, digital health, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmacovigilance, health informatics or green technology.
  • The same idea, or a substantially similar one, may only be submitted once and to one host institute.

How selection works: the host institute judges first, through a panel of three to five experts per theme drawn from a pool it assembles, and forwards its shortlist to the ministry. The ministry screens the documents and drops incomplete submissions. Thematic domain expert committees of industry, academic and government experts then score and recommend, and a project monitoring and advisory committee makes the final decision and can reject an idea without giving a reason.

How to apply: write to principal@dcp.ac.in first to check the fit, since you cannot change host institute after submitting. Then register on the ministry's incubation portal and choose the college in the application form. The most recent national window ran from 27 June to 14 July 2026; the next one is announced by the ministry.
