Capital subsidy for existing agri-entrepreneurs (TNIAMP)

A state capital subsidy for existing agri-entrepreneurs who have at least two years of business operations. It covers 50% of the eligible project cost, up to a ceiling set in the guidelines. Like the new-enterprise subsidy, it runs under TNIAMP, whose stated period is 2017-18 to 2022-23; the scheme page does not say whether it continues.

How selection works: The District Deputy Director of Agriculture identifies the entrepreneur and helps prepare the business plan with the Zonal Agri Business Specialist of the Agri Business Promotion Facility. Larger projects, above a project-cost level set in the guidelines, get a preliminary scrutiny by the Deputy Director.
