About NIDHI-PRAYAS
NIDHI-PRAYAS is run by the Department of Science & Technology. It helps idea-stage entrepreneurs turn an innovation into a prototype and a proof of concept for a physical product, with support for product development and testing over a 12-month period.

Who can apply
Indian citizens aged 18 or over with a new physical product idea that has not received funding from other agencies. The startup must be incorporated in India, at least 51% owned by Indian citizens, no more than 7 years old, and below the turnover limit on the programme page.
