About Entrepreneurial Fellowship Program
This fellowship was announced as a route for young founders to take research towards a market-ready product at DBDIC. Applications closed on 30 May 2024 and the centre has not announced another round, so treat it as a past programme.
Who could apply
- Founders under the age of 30
- At least a bachelor's degree in technology, sustainability, business or a related field
- An innovative business proposal with market potential, ready to be developed
- Candidates not employed elsewhere, able to commit full time to the venture
- Focus areas: deep tech and sustainability, health tech and biotech, food tech and agritech, clean energy, and sustainable business software
What fellows got: access to the centre's facilities, a network of industry leaders and introductions to venture capital.
How selection worked: applicants submitted a business proposal with the application form, showing how it fitted the focus areas.
