About The HAX Program
HAX invests in and runs hardware startups from SOSV's facilities. Admitted teams spend six months in residency at the Newark, New Jersey headquarters, working alongside in-house engineers, designers and business staff. The investment is made through a Post Money SAFE, which converts into an equity stake later.
What you get
- A six-month residency at the Newark facility, with lab and workshop support
- Prototyping, design, sourcing and manufacturing help from HAX's engineering team
- Marketing, sales and fundraising support, and curated introductions to investors
- An investment paid out at regular intervals over the programme
- Access to HAX's Shenzhen and Pune teams for supply chain and manufacturing work
Who can apply
- Hardware teams only, working in climate and energy, healthcare or manufacturing
- Teams with a working prototype and a large problem they have tested with customers
How selection works: HAX says it tries to read applications within two weeks. Teams that reach the final stage have three to four interviews, mostly remote.
