About Co-Innovation Centres

IHFC has set up Co-Innovation Centres with partner institutions outside Delhi so that students and aspiring founders can build deep-tech products where they already are. The centres are meant to support new product development, research translation and high-potential startups in robotics, AI, machine learning, IoT and medical technology.

IHFC states three objectives for them: to promote entrepreneurship through financial and technical support for deep-tech startups, to support incubation activity at academic and research institutions by setting up programmes, processes, partnerships and training, and to connect technology startups with academic institutes, research institutes and industry.

Who can apply

  • Students and aspiring entrepreneurs at the host institutions

Named partners include IIEST Shibpur, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, IIIT Delhi, Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, IIT Gandhinagar, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Delhi Technological University, Karunya Institute of Technology and Science, SGT University, Maulana Azad Medical College, Dalvkot Utility Enterprises and PES University in Bengaluru. IHFC's pages give the total as ten, fourteen and fifteen in different places; thirteen are actually named.
