TISC Incubation

TISC runs a rolling incubation intake from the IIT Jodhpur campus for technology and product ventures. It is campus-gated and built around a faculty association: every incubatee works with one or more IIT Jodhpur faculty members, as a mentor or holding an equity stake, and gets access to the institute's departmental labs.

What you get

• Office space, basic furniture, computers and internet on the IIT Jodhpur campus
• Shared common facilities
• A faculty mentor and access to departmental laboratories
• A possible milestone-linked Seed Loan, subject to funds

Who can apply

• Applicants affiliated to IIT Jodhpur: current faculty, current students and project staff, external registered companies and alumni with some affiliation, or academic and R&D partners of the institute
• One or more IIT Jodhpur faculty members must be associated with the venture
• Must be, or become within three months of approval, a registered unlisted company
• Open to India-based founders

How selection works: Prequalifying questionnaire and application form → initial assessment → formal application with a detailed proposal and IP and technology details → screening and evaluation by expert members, with technical and financial due diligence and a possible presentation → review by external expert members → admission at TISC's sole discretion.

How to apply: Submit the prequalifying questionnaire and incubation application form through TISC, then the detailed proposal once your initial assessment is positive.
