About KAN Investment for Early-Stage Startups
KAN invests equity in startups it selects after applying through the website. Alongside the money it offers strategic mentoring and access to a network of seasoned investors and entrepreneurs.
What you get
- Equity investment, recorded as a single entry on the cap table through an SPV service of a SEBI-registered fund
- Strategic mentoring and introductions to the KAN investor network
- Pitch sessions, events and founder-focused initiatives run by the network
Who can apply
- Startups with proven market traction and initial revenue, per the home page
- Startups with a proper business plan and exit strategies
- The investment policy also describes growth-stage companies looking to scale before Series A
How selection works: the investment committee reviews each application. Selected startups are invited to pitch, then go through due diligence and a final investment decision. The site says the process takes 1 to 2 months from start to finish.
How to apply: use the Apply for Funding tab at the top of the KAN website.
