Make in BVB (MiB) student programmes

Make in BVB is a student body under CTIE. It has run since 2014 and organises the events, workshops and competitions that make up the student half of CTIE's two-pronged model. It is for students of the university, not for outside founders.

What you get

• PUPA, an accelerated entrepreneurial experience where students make, demonstrate and sell products
• Butterfly, a business plan competition where winners are mentored in their fourth year to move from an idea to a venture
• Ideation Camp, a structured process for developing and screening ideas, open to all streams and years
• Buildathon, a nine-day product build competition
• A student exchange programme run since 2013, starting with the Manning School of Business at UMass Lowell, with a Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation course
• Minor in Entrepreneurship, a five-course programme from second year to pre-final year, with the final year available to grow the business

Who can apply

• Students of KLE Technological University. Butterfly takes second and third-year students; the Minor runs from second year to pre-final year; Ideation Camp is open to all streams and years
