About Share Investment
Share Investment is KSIDC's equity route. It takes a minority equity stake in companies setting up units in Kerala, with a stated special focus on early-stage companies and technology-driven enterprises. For startups it also offers redeemable cumulative preference share capital.
What you get
- Equity capital or redeemable cumulative preference share capital.
- A nominee director from KSIDC on the board, for strategic guidance and governance support.
- Exit routes through buy-back, IPO or a strategic sale of the stake.
Who can apply
- Public or private limited companies setting up units in Kerala.
- Companies that meet the minimum net worth and project-cost conditions. The project-cost condition is lower for startups.
How to apply: The page does not give a separate application route for share investment. Contact KSIDC through the Contact Us page or the district officers listed on the Contact Persons page.
