About MaDeIT Incubation
MaDeIT incubates product startups and MSMEs, mainly in manufacturing, healthcare and transportation. A short pre-incubation stage of 2-4 weeks is available before full incubation.
What you get
- A cabin of 100-150 sq. ft. that seats up to 4 people, with furniture, computers, internet and shared services
- Rapid prototyping through the design studio and the Fab Lab
- Access to IIITDM labs, faculty advice, student interns and library, as per institute rules
- Introductions to legal and financial experts
- A possible soft loan, depending on available funding schemes
Who can apply
- A Private Limited Company, or a firm that will convert within 2 months of selection
- Alumni, students and faculty of IIITDM Kancheepuram
- Fresh engineering graduates with at most three years of work experience
- Existing startups and MSMEs starting new product development
How selection works: Experts review your business plan and you present to an Evaluation Committee, which includes IIITDM representatives and industry leaders. The Board of Directors decides.
