About Open Challenge Program (OCP) — MSMEs
NERVE runs a second route in the Open Challenge Program for innovative product-based MSMEs. It ran on the same dates as the startup route, 5 June to 15 July 2026, and is between intakes. It is a lighter offer than the startup track and it is not free.
What you get
- Access to the GPU computing lab facility.
- Access to the centre's innovation ecosystem and collaboration platform.
- Mentoring and technical guidance, on a chargeable basis.
- Bootcamps and training programmes, on a chargeable basis.
- Go-to-market support, networking and industry connect, on a chargeable basis.
Who can apply
- Product-based MSMEs working in healthcare, agriculture, environment, mining or other emerging sectors.
- MSME here means an enterprise classified as one by the Government of India on investment in plant, machinery or equipment and annual turnover.
How selection works: the same Program Management Group process as the startup route — screening, a jury pitch, then an offer and agreement.
How to apply: through the MSME apply link on NERVE's Open Challenge Program page, which goes to STPI's SAYUJ portal. That link is currently mis-typed, so email nerve@stpi.in if it does not work.
