About Term Loans
NSTFDC term loans fund viable ventures in the industrial, agricultural and service sectors. The loan is routed through a State Channelizing Agency, which also checks eligibility and sets its own terms.
What you get
- A term loan covering most of the unit cost, with a small promoter contribution that rises with project size
- Lower interest for the agency's own on-lending than for the final borrower
- Repayment in quarterly instalments within a maximum of 5 years, including the moratorium
Who can apply
- Individuals, self help groups and partnerships whose members all belong to the Scheduled Tribes
- Cooperative societies with at least 80% Scheduled Tribe members
- Residents of the state or Union Territory where their tribe is notified
How selection works: The State Channelizing Agency applies its own eligibility rules and the lending terms of the scheme.
How to apply: Approach the district office of the State Channelizing Agency in your state. It guides you and files the loan application. NSTFDC does not take applications from individuals directly.
