About OceanHub Africa Acceleration Programme
The accelerator is for Africa-based Blue Economy startups that already earn revenue from paying customers. Each venture gets an Entrepreneur in Residence who coaches it weekly and builds its work plan. The programme includes an in-person bootcamp and ends with an investor pitch.
What you get
- An Entrepreneur in Residence who coaches you weekly and builds your work plan with you
- Investor-readiness support, including the data-room framework investors will ask for
- Growth strategy and fundraising strategy for your next raise and next market
- Engineering and operations support from a dedicated Engineer in Residence
- An in-person bootcamp and a pitch to a curated ecosystem of business and ocean experts
- Introductions to funders, and eligibility to be put forward for the Blue Loop Facility or ForSea Invest
Who can apply
- Blue Economy or adjacent ventures in Africa, with a product or service in market
- Paying customers, signed contracts, repeat sales or renewals as evidence of revenue
- At least two founders with complementary skills
- Registered and active ventures with a credible link between the business and ocean impact
- Room to commit at least one team member to weekly sessions and to the bootcamp
How selection works: application, eligibility check, interview with the Entrepreneurs in Residence, then scoring on market, model, capacity to use support, growth beyond the first market and ocean impact.
How to apply: Apply through the online form for Cohort 8. Selection for the 2027 cohort closes on 6 December 2026, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis after that.
