About Biodiv Sport grant
For a first collaboration with Play for Nature, projects must be designed around a maximum grant of €5,000, which must represent ≤ 50% of the organisation's annual budget and ≥ 10% of the total project cost. The grant covers a maximum period of 12 months, funding one annual phase of a multi-year strategy. Eligible organisations must be legally registered for at least 3 years, with conservation as their primary mission (at least 50% of budget dedicated to conservation). Projects must not have begun at the time of application. Applications are accepted during the open call period (e.g., 1 July to 16 August 2026) via an online platform. Play for Nature funds projects worldwide, excluding areas affected by armed conflict or instability. Only one application per organisation per 12-month period is accepted.
