About Incubation Programme (physical or virtual)
This is REVA NEST's core offer and there is no cohort calendar — the application is open and you choose physical or virtual incubation on the form. Physical incubation puts you on the campus in Yelahanka with company-specific office space; virtual incubation gives you the mentoring and network without the desk.
What you get
- Office space with basic furniture, plus co-working space and private cabins.
- A twenty-seat board room on request, and meeting rooms with projection equipment.
- Shared printer, photocopier and scanner, pantry and library access.
- Business labs and 3D printing facilities.
- Access to REVA University's departmental laboratories for product development, and to its centres of excellence in electronics and communication, design and manufacturing, construction and biotechnology.
- A pool of mentors across technology, legal and financial matters, some of whom are paid for their time.
- Help with company registration.
- Intellectual-property support through REVA's IPR cell — patent filing in India and abroad, design registration, copyright and trademarks.
- Angel and venture-capital introductions, investor meets, pitch events and networking.
- Consulting services.
Who can apply
- Registered students of REVA University.
- Current REVA University faculty.
- REVA University alumni.
- Start-up firms less than two years old — the route for founders with no REVA connection.
- Any stage from idea to revenue; the form asks you to pick idea, prototype, private beta, public beta or revenue.
How selection works: the application is reviewed, your business plan is evaluated by a selection committee the incubator appoints, and you may be asked to present to it. You may be selected at the first interview or asked to reframe the plan. Selected incubatees sign an agreement, in a format published on the site's resources page, before admission formalities.
How to apply: fill the incubation application on the REVA NEST site, choose physical or virtual incubation, and upload a detailed business proposal. Enquiries go to info@revanest.com. Broadband and telephone lines are charged for, and no fee schedule is published, so ask what incubation costs before you sign.
