About SRIF Incubation (Membership)
The SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation takes founders into membership after a review of the application and an interview with an expert panel. Eligibility starts with the university community: faculty on campus, students and alumni of university departments. Partner companies and organisations wanting an offshoot of an existing business can also apply, as can grassroots innovators whose proposal has intellectual property transferred to a company, social and strategic impact, or use of the centre's facilities.
What you get
- Access to expert talks, master classes, training sessions, workshops and conferences at discounted rates
- Mentoring at discounted rates, requested at least two weeks in advance
- A membership card and log-in to the online portal
- Information on incubation proposals and on competitions
- Campus facilities and services, including legal support
Who can apply
- Faculty members on the university campus
- Students and alumni of university departments
- Partner companies and organisations wanting an offshoot of an existing business
- Grassroots innovators whose proposal meets one of the stated tests
How selection works: pre-scan review, review by a panel, interview with an expert panel, letter of admission, then an agreement and services delivered on campus.
How to apply: open the incubation application form from the startup page, or email ceo.srif@sgbau.ac.in to request it. Membership carries a one-time charge.
