Who can apply
- Student innovators, professors, clinicians, surgeons, technicians, engineers, entrepreneurs and startup companies
- Small and medium enterprises
- Startups located anywhere in the world that plan to enter the Indian market or need specific inputs from India
- What is asked for: an innovative solution to an unmet clinical need, or know-how, IP or a strategy for affordable devices; a commitment to safe, reliable, good-quality devices; and the ability to invest or raise funding
How selection works: TIMed reviews your proposal and invites you to present to its expert committee. The committee weighs innovation content, market need, technology readiness, time to market, your ability to invest or raise funding, team profile and motivation, and whether you can demonstrate a real need for incubation on site. Incubation runs for a maximum of 36 months and is reviewed by the programme committee.
How to apply: Email a business plan, or send a short write-up through the form on the contacts page. Questions can go to timed@sctimst.ac.in.
