About BIRAC E-YUVA fellowships

The SKUAST Kashmir E-YUVA Centre is hosted by the centre and supported by BIRAC, Government of India. The 4th National Call is open for undergraduate applications.

What you get: a research grant for the team and a fellowship stipend for each student, for undergraduate teams. The Innovation Fellowship routes for postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers come with research grants and monthly stipends. The fellowship figures are reference figures from BIRAC's January 2022 guidelines, and the current call terms take precedence.

Who can apply: undergraduate teams of Indian students with a mentor. Indian applicants with a completed master's degree or PhD for the Innovation Fellowship routes, which the site says will open later.

How to apply: apply through the BIRAC portal and choose SKUAST Kashmir as the E-YUVA Centre. Registration on the local Ideation Bank does not replace the BIRAC application. The undergraduate deadline is 31 October 2026 at 5:30 PM.
