BharatNetra FinTech & InsurTech Initiative

BharatNetra is a flagship programme of the Government of Odisha, run from a FinTech Centre of Excellence in Bhubaneswar in partnership with the Global Finance and Technology Network in Singapore. Startup Réseau describes itself as the implementation partner. The programme's own site presents it as run by that network, so check with the programme directly about who you would be working with.

The first incubator cohort began in March 2026 and its application window has closed. The accelerator track still invites registrations.

Who can apply — incubator

• Fintech, insurtech or technology with embedded finance preferred
• An incorporated business
• A minimum viable product or early traction
• No more than eighteen months since incorporation

Who can apply — accelerator

• Fintech, insurtech or technology with embedded finance preferred
• An incorporated business, worked on full time
• More than eighteen months since incorporation
• Existing revenue, funding raised, or both

What you get

• Sessions on building for India, go-to-market strategy, enterprise partnerships and the regulatory environment
• Fundraising approaches, pitch refinement and mock pitch sessions
• Office hours with experts, and for the accelerator, investor introductions and exposure at global fintech forums

How selection works: applications, then shortlisting, then founder interviews, then final selection.
