About Techstars Boulder
Techstars Boulder is a three-month accelerator run from Boulder, Colorado. Techstars says it is the original Techstars accelerator, and that its first class began in Boulder in summer 2007.
What you get
- Three months of mentorship-driven support. Techstars says the programme connects founders with specialised expertise, a global community, and capital.
- An investment from Techstars in exchange for equity. Techstars says it invests in companies accepted into its accelerator programmes.
- No fee to join, according to Techstars' investment terms.
Who can apply
- The Boulder page says the programme is industry agnostic and welcomes founders from all sectors.
- Techstars' investment terms say it invests in US corporations or foreign equivalents. They say a company incorporated in India needs to complete a flip before Techstars can invest in it.
- The Boulder page does not say whether it accepts founders based in India. Ask Techstars before you apply.
How to apply: The Fall 2026 batch took applications from 2 March to 10 June 2026. The batch was scheduled to start on 8 September 2026 and to end with Demo Day on 7 December 2026. Applications for that batch are closed, and the page gives no dates for a later intake. A February 2024 report said Techstars would close its Boulder and Seattle accelerators. The Boulder page now shows a batch running in 2026, so confirm the current intake with Techstars before you plan around it.
